You can add an AutoCAD or MicroStation dataset to a map document by dragging it from the Catalog window and dropping it into your map. Adding a child feature class displays a subset of the data based on shape type. Any edits made to the CAD file are reflected in the dataset when the connection is refreshed. Actions in ArcMap, such as. CAD data can be imported into a geodatabase as feature classes in ArcGIS Pro. CAD data in ArcGIS Pro. And colors defined by the CAD file. Feature layers.
Importing Cad Data Into Arcmap
I georeferenced a .tif file in AutoCad and I'm trying to import it into ArcMap but it keeps saying no spatial reference information found. I created a worldfile in AutoCad so I'm not sure what the problem is bringing in this image georeferenced or if it's just not possible. I guess I could try to georeference it in ArcMap but I'm not very good at it, especially because ArcMap pastes the image so far away from where I want to make control points.
EDIT: I JUST GEOREFERENCED IT IN ARCMAP USING THE FIT TO DISPLAY. THANKS EVERYBODY, UPVOTES FOR ALL
