A group of 5 boys from India is in the rise! MJ5 is a boy dance group, best known for their unique dance style, inspired by Michael Jackson. And their triumph on 2013’s India’s Dancing Superstar, they have been soaring ever since. MJ5 is the winner of the first season of Star Plus’s dance reality show, India's Dancing Superstar. MJ 5 have emerged winners in Star Plus's spectacular dance reality show India's Dancing Superstar (IDS).

The show is judged by actor Riteish Deshmukh, Geeta Kapoor and Ashley Lobo. This is Riteish Deshmukh's debut at judging a television show. One of the biggest competition for the country's best dance acts India's Dance Superstar is the ultimate dance battle between the nation's best dancers as they perform to win the hearts of the country with their superlative talent.

The shooting of this week's finale episode was shot in Mumbai and the winners were declared based on their performance. The Bollywood film Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara lead actor Akshay Kumar was on the show promoting his film during this episode.

MJ5, who have named themselves after the popular rockstar Michael Jackson, won the title of India's Dancing Superstar at the final episode where they had to compete with the other teams Loyola Group, Akshay Pal, Padmini and Debasish, and Palden and Khyati.

Mumbai: Team MJ5, named after the late King of Pop Michael Jackson, bagged the title of 'India's Dancing Superstar' (IDS) at the dance reality show's grand finale Saturday night.

For the finale, MJ5, a group of boys from Delhi, competed with four other finalists - Akshay Pal, Padmini and Debasish, Loyola Group and Palden and Khyati, to win the IDS trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh on the Star Plus show.

A much deserved winner, the MJ5 group always managed to enthrall viewers with their creative performances, unique styles and visually stunning dance form.

Their happiness knew no bounds when they were announced as the winners - they jumped with joy and hugged each other to celebrate their victory.

The grand finale was graced by Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, who came to promote their forthcoming film 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara!', slated to release Aug 15.

Judged by choreographers Ashley Lobo, Geeta Kapur and Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh, the show was launched April 27. It was hosted by TV actors Aishwarya Sakhuja and Ravi Dubey.

Riteish, for whom the show marked his first tryst with the small screen, also added some Bollywood 'tadka' to the finale by grooving to some of his popular tracks.
