The phone then gets a reboot signal and in the process receives a new config file with the changed keys. Contrast that to one of the oldest and most basic VoIP protocols, UniStim which Nortel created back in the late 1990s. I make the change in the antiquated 1970s PBX CLI while watching the phone.
